I have been producing websites for over 14 years within the Automotive, Travel and Tourism, New Media and Creative Digital industries:

Automotive Industry: Designing car, van, bike dealership websites searchable on the AutoTrader website.

Travel and Tourism Industry: Creating usable websites for online luxury travel retailer Destinology and the tours and experiences company Pumpkin Tours.

Creative & Digital industry: Working for Internexus on the Supanet website and on freelance projects.

I produce websites from inital ideas through to a fully functional website that is effective, usable and fulfills business requirements.

I have created email marketing campaigns for Destinology, reaching a database of 50K subscribers, as well as onsite & offsite banner promotions and creatives for social media promotions and competitions. Websites that I produce are optimised for search engines.

I have extensive knowledge of using Photoshop for creating mockups, producing creative layouts, individual graphical elements and photo manipulation. I hand code XHTML & CSS to craft my websites, with more recent experience with HTML5 and CSS3.

Whilst working at Destinology I created the Award Winning website; Sense South Africa. The website was part of the winning marketing campaign to promote South Africa as a holiday destination.

Graphic Design & Print Based Design

Having first trained as a Graphic Designer in the early 90’s, I still enjoy working on print based projects.
Whilst working at Destinology I have produce creative designs for print based promotions, for example; printed adverts for the purpose of joint marketing between Destinology and Maldives hotel resorts included in the 'Inflight Magazine' for Maldives Sea Planes, corporate branded luggage tags and seasonal greetings cards.
